For the good of the party – or for the good of the country?

It seems to me that the Democrats WANTED to believe that they won a mandate in 2008 and the Republicans WANTED to believe that they won a mandate in 2010 – and I wonder if they were both wrong!! Maybe the voters were expressing their frustration with the refusal of BOTH parties to work together to actually solve our problems and meet our huge challenges (challenges that risk our historical position of preeminence in the world) our country faces.

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL!!!

There are many, many interests who believe they can get what they want by keeping the electorate divided – and WE allow that to happen !!!!

WE WANT to believe that there are simple, easy and painless solutions to the huge challenges our country faces – and it just “ain’t” so.

Our law making process was intentionally designed by the founding fathers to require debate and compromise.

With 2 political parties that place their own interests ahead of the country’s interests or who believe that their answers are the ONLY right answers, we are in deep, deep trouble.

WAKE UP ELECTORATE!
